My 2008 resolution
Just a joyful piece compared to my last post.
I've been quite happy, and am going to continue being joyful, with God. Everything's pretty much settled so far, got my visa and all, which I'm grateful for.
My 2008 resolution is quite simple...just to heed out this favourite hymn. It encompasses everything I ever need for 2008 and the years beyond.
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.
Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.
High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.
Quite funny, as I'm posting this, the music of it is playing randomly on another computer.
I pray that each and every one of you will find peace and rest in God, and may his blessings flow upon you and your family.
Happy New Year!

Anxious
I am in this position most of the time throughout these holidays. Anxious, nervous, worried. Though it seems like everything has worked out, I still feel weird. Tense, on my toes.
Something's wrong. Help.
Jesus, the very thought of thee
With sweetness fills the breast;
But sweeter far Thy face to see,
And in Thy presence rest.
No voice can sing, no heart can frame,
Nor can the memory find
A sweeter sound than Thy blest name,
O Saviour of mankind!
O Hope of every contrite heart,
O Joy of all the meek,
To those who fall, how kind Thou art,
How good to those who seek!
But what to those who find! Ah! this
Nor tongue nor pen can show;
The love of Jesus, what it is
None but His loved ones know.
Jesus, our only Joy be Thou,
As Thou our Crown wilt be;
Jesus, be Thou our glory now
And through eternity.

"More Than The Watchmen" by Rebecca St. James
Out of the depths of my despair
Oh I cry Father hear my voice
Open Your ears to hear my mercy cry
And if You kept a book of sin
Oh Father, who'd be standing?
But in Your goodness there is mercy and forgiveness
More than the watchmen wait for morning
My soul it waits for You
More than the watchmen wait for morning
More than the watchmen wait for morning
My soul waits for You
More than the watchmen wait for morning
