In determining the electron configuration of a certain atom, 3 rules are applied:
1. The Aufbau Principle, states that we have to fill electrons starting from the lowest energy orbitals first...
2. Pauli Exclusion Principle, states that no 2 electrons can have the same set of quantum numbers, i.e. in a certain suborbital, one must spin up, and the other spin down...
3. Hund's Rule of Maximum Multiplicity, states that Spin Multiplicity is directly proportional to stability... i.e. it's better for electrons to have the same spin in different suborbitals than to have different spins in the same suborbital...
I find that this is very easily observable in a bus...
1. According to the Aufbau Principle, people who first come in usually move toward the back of the bus, and then to the middle, front, then standing...
2. According to the Pauli Exclusion Principle, usually a guy would prefer to sit with a girl, because they do not have the same set of quantum numbers...
3. According to Hund's Rule, people would prefer to sit alone and only if they don't have the opportunity to do so will they be forced to pair up with someone else on the bus...

1/4 cup of butter
One tablespoon of cream of tartar
One tablespoon of vanilla extract
3 McVitie's Hobnobs oats biscuits (Or graham crackers)
Method:
Melt chocolate in a bowl surrounded by boiling water. (To prevent crusting)
Add butter and stir.
Add cream of tartar and vanilla extract. Stir.
Crumble the biscuits and sprinkle over chocolate. Mix well.
Pour mixture onto thin greased plate and spread evenly.
Refrigerate for 4 hours.
Break into pieces and eat.
Should be able to make 20 1"x1" pieces.

Came out with this myself during candy making time. Though truffles were too common to make, so since I had McVitie's oat biscuits with me, just tried my hand at it. Turned out quite well. The butter took the slight bitterness taste of the baking chocolate out. Maybe I should add honey and some raisins/almonds next time.

MGW1010 is giving me the shudders.
JRN1903 is coming up not so nicely. I have a deep feeling that I'll have writer's block.
But one interview is done. Now for the next two...
COM1020 is giving me a headache and eyeache. Wrapping your mind around all those theories are not simple. Even MGW1010 theories are more straightforward than COM1020. Honestly, I do not know why academicians (Raymond Williams and his kind) must write in such 'flowery language'.
