Monash
We had the Arts Transition Programme this morning. It was interesting enough that I didn't fall flat asleep, since I only had about 5 hours of sleep. Yesterday night I attended the STRONGER Concert in GTPJ, organized by the youths of GTPJ for the youths! It was really awesome to note the energy in the Maranatha Hall. 26 young lives were saved. To God be the Glory!
After the concert we (Cason, Aaron, Sheow Hui and I) went to SS2 to makan because we're hungry and I haven't taken my dinner yet anyway. Had Claypot Loh Shi Fun, and I tell you, that was the best loh shi fun I've ever tasted. Yummy, it is...
So coming back to the Arts transition programme...
Had a short icebreaker with Dr. Yeoh in charge. He asked questions and we have to go to the area which says, "Yes", "No" and "I don't know/I don't care". The last question was really cute. He asked on whether we thought America is a good and great country. Or somewhere along that line...Almost all of us went to the 'No' category and a handful in the 'I don't know/I don't care' area. NONE were in 'Yes'. That cracked me up.
Played treasure hunt in the library. Our group didn't win. LOL...our 2nd clue disappeared off even though we found the book. Guess it was stuck within pages we couldn't see.
Oh, then one guy in our group, his name is Alvin, and he looked rather 'nerd' in a TMY-ish fashion. During tea-time, he asked whether Chris Sam and I were together or not after Chris took a sip from my tea. Chris, Chien Aun, Anna and I looked at each other incredulously and explained that Chris already had a girlfriend. But man...Alvin asked our group (which excluded Chris Sam, to include Kenneth) whether were we single or not. All of us answered in the negative and I was surprised that Kenneth had no girlfriend, and he confessed that he never had a girlfriend before either. Anna and I looked weirdly at him I guess, because we could never believe that. Because he looked like the kind of guy that would have a lot of girls chasing after him. Anna, being Anna, blurted out that fact, "You look like the kind of guy that would have a lot of girlfriends before." I laughed.
Played a bit more games, listened to talks about essay writing and plagiarism. Then after lunch Chris drove me home, before rushing off to KL for his father's business.
I slacked until church service. But boy...today's service was power. The speaker, Indri Gautama, spoke with fervour and an alarming sense of brutal honesty that just pierces to people's minds and hearts. She probably 'step on a lot of toes' with her bluntness, but she makes the people laugh with her wit. Throughout the whole sermon, I was either laughing or wincing. Man, she's good. Really good.

P.S: By the way, did you guys know that KCA was called "Ah Moi" by the exit ticket fellow at Summit? This happened after we watched the movie '300'. Cute indeed...
