Welcome
to my humble abode

Who am I?
Who am I? That the Lord of all the earth, Would care to know my name, Would care to feel my hurt.
Who am I? That the bright and morning star, Would choose to light the way, For my ever wandering heart.
I am a flower quickly fading, Here today and gone tomorrow, A wave tossed in the ocean, A vapor in the wind. Still you hear me when I'm calling, Lord, you catch me when I'm falling, And you've told me who I am. I am yours. I am yours.

January 27, 2007 (part two)

The long-awaited sequel of "January 27, 2007 (part one)" has now arrived!

Note: Dialogues are not entirely accurate, but are along that line of thought.

"Vivacity" would be a word to describe TCC (The Coffee Connoisuer). Comfortable chairs around tiny coffee tables creates a friendly atmosphere for chit-chatting. As 3 friends sat down, an easy-going vibe was among them. Ben ordered an expresso (with I forgot how many shots). When his expresso arrived, Lynette laughed gaily at how small an expresso cup really was. Honestly, she had no idea it was that tiny! A first in experience for her, that was. Zhi Ai had a pretty normal order, which tasted rather good and sweet. It probably went well with the dessert Lynette ordered. The author here has forgotten what the dessert name was, only that it consisted of white wine in tiny, cubic biscuits, completed with strands of chocolate fudge and mixed berries. A Cinnamon Latte, that she took, which the teaspoon was replaced with a cinnamon stick. That was a glorious luxury!

But wait! The story went a bit too fast. So let us all backtrack a bit. We'll now go to the part where a waiter comes in with the 3 good friends' orders...

A waiter, tall, fair, slender and polite, came to the table filled with laughter, talk and swooning about "TRAVIS! HE'S SO HOT IN 'SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE'! AHHHHHH! LOOK AT HIM WHEN HE DANCED 'SEXYBACK', THAT WAS THE ULTIMATE! SO BEAUTIFUL, SO GORGEOUS!"
Speaking as a completely objective third party observer with absolutely no personal interest in the matter, this author notes that the waiter was probably quite intimidated by the laughter Lynette and Zhi Ai were producing.

From the description above, one may take the waiter to be a female, but alas! To the ever-growing joy of the 2 crazy females, the waiter was a really cute guy in glasses. (Note: Glasses are mentioned because for Zhi Ai, that is a huge turn on.) Since the guy was cute with spectacles, Zhi Ai obviously took notice of him rather quick and nudged Lynette, "The waiter seems nervous. His voice was trembling when he gave us our orders."

Lynette wondered a bit, and nodded her head, agreeing with what her friend said.
And then more talk about how hot some PARTICULAR guys were carried on, with poor Ben left in the dust. Then Ben uttered this, "It's quite funny how girls go on and on about how hot guys look, from the shape of their eyes, nose, lips, body and the way they carry themselves. Whereas for guys, we only go, 'Hey, that girl is cute,' and that's about it." Lynette and Zhi Ai pondered over this for a minute before forcing to acknowledge the truth about that statement.

Ah, then came the loving discussion of relationships. Darling Ben already has a fantastic girlfriend, so all the girls ever asked him were a couple of embarrassing questions which due to the fact this author does not want to get sued, it will remain private. The girls came up with a list of attributes and features their future husbands should have. But both agreed on the fact that the first and foremost criteria would be that their husband must be a man after God's heart.

They then arrived at the fact that Lynette likes guys who look good in long hair, especially at the fringe part and also that Zhi Ai has major jones for people who look cute in glasses. At that point of time, the same boyish waiter came to their table and asked whether they would like a drink of water. Lynette and Zhi Ai agreed. As he turned towards Ben, he asked, "M'am, would you like a glass of water?"

Time stopped then. For a couple of seconds or two before the 2 real females twisted their head to glance at each other before bursting out in crazed laughter. We always knew that Ben were part of being sisters, but to the extent he was mistaken for a lady? Oh never!

The waiter blushed prettily and tried to cover up his mistake, but for the 2 girls, once they started to laugh, they could never stop. When the waiter left to prepare the drinks, the girls teased Ben so bad. And after a while it just clicked that since the guy looked rather cute and wore specs, he was perfectly the right kind of guy Zhi Ai was looking for. In came the dares of who were going to get the phone number of the waiter. Of course, it was all very much plain talk and not much action, but imagine, if one of them really asked for the number of this cute waiter, what a comedy drama it would unfold.

"They're still laughing about just now," Ben said with a grin to the waiter boy as he gave us our drinks. The poor dude blushed again, and it was seriously very cute. Since Lynette was sitting just opposite to where the guy was standing, she saw his name tag rather clearly. Ah...Si Zheng...

Now fast forward to after the 3 of them went back home. Lynette is a mightily curious individual, and pretty good in searching out for things. Guess what she did when she got to her laptop? Google the name 'Si Zheng', and boy did she find him. On friendster, that was...

So what happened next? Did the 3 of them got in contact with the guy again? Have Zhi Ai and Si Zheng become good chums yet?

We'll leave the rest of the story there for you readers to imagine.

The End.
