It's time.
Why do people focus "about HIM" rather than "HIM" alone?
Why do people live in the past?
Why should I be chained down to my mistakes?
God set me free and I will claim that promise.
And I'll get to know HIM better and love him deeper.
This is what the LORD says:
"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom
or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,
but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,"
declares the LORD.

Today was most interesting.
I'll just sum the whole day up in just a few words.
Woke up. Waited for Van. Did not arrive. Called driving school. Apologies. Driver stuck in Kota Tinggi flood. Test card unable to reach JPJ.JB. Lounged about till 9.30am. Mom talked. Dad got new smartphone. Fiddling with smartphone. Driving school called. Dad rushed me to JPJ.JB. Waited for documents to process. Took the UNDANG test. I think I passed. Unable to get results. Need to wait for official test card to reach JPJ.JB. Driving school will tell me my results after handing up the test card.
Reached home. Lunch. Laptop internet. Sleep. Biscuits. Dinner. Audio editing with Jie. Laughed. Laughed. Laughed. Laptop internet. Symphony 92.4FM. Jim Brickman Disney Songbook. Biscuits. Water.
Sleep.
Reminder. Performance tomorrow. Get Shanghai pictures done in folder for slideshow. Wash my pants. MUST.

I think I just received the most funniest present ever in my entire life.
A baby pillow encased in a teddy bear sheet, and it's blue.
It's supposed to be the replacement for my old smelly pillow which I still have because it smells oh-so-wonderful! (TRULY!)
I'm thinking of giving it to my own children when they are a baby. A family heirloom pillow. How wonderful.
Never knew where my parents' sense of humour came from.
I think it is from God, because he is the God of laughter and humour (my favourite).
Plus, he is the God of surprises.
So thank you God for giving me a weird, insane, gorgeous, vivacious, cuddly and lovable family.

It's my birthday
So far it has been a nice, quiet and a rainy day for my birthday.
And it couldn't be more perfect.
Just to spend some time with my family.
Thank you to all who wished me birthday greetings.
Thanks to Sandy who dedicated a blog post to me. (:
And thanks to those who gave me gifts and are going to (*looks at Aiai* hahahahaha!).
Love the cows and books and necklace and more cows!
So here's to the cows! Let me hear you moo!
"Can you hear it? It's already begun."
"I can't hear anything."
"At first, you have to listen very carefully."
Cow-Moo 2006 Overture starts to get louder and louder, eventually moving into the crescendo.
"Oh my."
Fireworks.
"It's beautiful."
"Thank you."
*Ahhh...I can hear you...the beautiful concerto of moo-ing*
PS: Idea of moo-ing comes from Chien Aun. So tickled...added a bit of V for Vendetta quotes in it.

SO WE FINALLY FOUND ONE!!!!!!!! WHOOOO~! so Happy! =)))! Then we bought it..and there was this Button Badge Benjamin gave to me and benson on our bday..There only two of this in the world! Benjamin specially made it for me and benson..And he lost it coz it was on his bag that was stolen..he was darn sad abt it..hhehehe..So..I took my badge and put it on the new bag we bought for him..=))! Then we tried to recover whtever he lost lar..But then we so out of $$$ alrdy especially after buying that bag..So did not suceed to recover everything but got to recover some lah..I quickly sneak it into the car trunk without him noticing it..hahahaha...
MwaaHahaha..Then i planned to put the bag under the christmas tree when he goes to sleep..So yesterday i was waiting for him to sleep..BUT HE JUST WOULDNT GO TO SLEEP!!! i was soooo tireddd!!! can faint edy...lolx...then FINALLY AT 3AM HE WENt TO SLEEP!!! SHOUT OUT TO MEL, CELINE, BENSON & OTHERS!: You all just reminded me about brotherhood and sisterhood. Thanks so much! I'm pretty touched by what you guys did for Benson, and the "one in all in" attitude together with Jeffri.
PS: Anybody know whose bag was the third that got stolen?
A complete driving attitude as laid down in Defensive Driving Concept are:
1) Not involve in accident
2) Not to convict traffic faults
3) No wrong usage of vehicle
4) Not late in a journey schedule
5) Do not have good manner
A) 1, 2, 4 and 5
B) 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
Answer is B.
But what I don't get is why both options A and B have option number 5 in it. So we're not supposed to have good manners when driving? Oh I see, no wonder Malaysian drivers are what they are like now.
To be called a country going into globalisation and entering new international markets, Malaysia really needs to improve on their English language skills.
Somebody...PLEASE!

The Nativity Story
I watched "The Nativity Story" with Chien Aun in Singapore, and in my opinion, despite what the critics might say and bash, I thought the movie was pretty nice.
Nativity is not something like "Passion of the Christ" where everything is gruesome and depicted so blatantly, that it becomes a 'shove in your face'. Of course, I still like Passion of the Christ though. Nativity has a surprising good music soundtrack, with old hymns and lovable classical pieces.
This show might not be one to totally convert a non-christian or whatsoever, but it gives a certain peace to the person after watching it. I know I felt pretty good, because through that show, somehow it makes me appreciate God more. To put trust in his Word, his will and in Him, because he always knows the bigger scene/plan. It's amazing how God placed Jesus as a son of a carpenter even though he is the King of Kings. The dreams he gave to people to prepare and protect his Will.
A great leader borne from the lowest of men. (I think this is one of the quotes from the movie. Sort of.)
The portrayal of Joseph was a bit more touching than Mary. I like the bit where he overhears a street-seller saying something about seeing his face on his baby's face, and Joseph's face turned sad. It was understandable.
Although some of the effects were really extravagant, and some parts are not biblically correct, it still was able to make me enjoy it. Oooh! If any of you watches it, look out for the Magi (3 wise men). They're the comical relief of the show, with their barbs and subtle dialogue. Everytime they appear onscreen, there definitely be laughter.
But I got a shock when I saw who the director is. Catherine Hardwicke. She's also the director of "Lords of Dogtown" and "Thirteen". Thirteen is this really disturbing movie showing the negative sides of teenagers and what they do for attention and image. So just compare that movie to Nativity, and it gives me a sense of surprise.

Nostalgia
Odd...I find myself in a very whimsical mood. Been hearing too much of Disney Standards already, I guess. Jim Brickman, oh what your music does to me. Or frankly, what Disney music does to me. Man, how I miss Disney and its old cartoon animations. Where it is plain 2D, unlike the animations you get now. I miss the treasured feeling of childhood and longing. Nostalgia, is this what it is?

Someday my prince will come
Some day my prince will come
Some day we'll meet again
And away to his castle we'll go
To be happy forever I know
Some day when spring is here
We'll find our love anew
And the birds will sing
And wedding bells will ring
Some day when my dreams come true

Jesus is better than Santa
I sort of stole this from my brother's blog, but I thought it was rather interesting and cute, so here it is.
Santa lives at the North Pole…
JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh…
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year…
JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies…
JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited…
JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and then enters your heart when invited.
You have to wait in line to see Santa…
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap…
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn’t know your name, all he can say is “Hi little boy or girl, what’s your name?”…
JESUS knew our name before we were born. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly…
JESUS has a heart full of love
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO…
JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says “You better not cry”…
JESUS says “Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.”
Santa’s little helpers make toys…
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle but…
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree…
JESUS became our gift and died on a tree…the cross.
We need to put Christ back in CHRISTmas, Jesus is still the reason for the season.

changed
I've changed the layout. Gotten quite sick of the juices running down, so I donned on some vector art layout that I got from blogskins.com. The moment I'm free enough and able to do such a layout will I then use my own.
These few days, nothing really special other than meeting old friends and going out to Singapore. Couple of movies here and there, playing on my sister's PS2 (which reminds me...JEREMY! When you wanna come over for a round of games? jie bought more games already...and popo is wanting you here).
Went to Vivocity with Shaun yesterday for the whole day till night. Watched Casino Royale, and got a royal crick on my neck from seeing the movie just 6 metres away from the screen. Ate a huge burger for lunch at Carl's Jr.. Had Ben and Jerry's ice cream on the way back. Stupid bus took more than 1 hr from Harbourfront to Woodlands. Ate Mamak at E&Y for dinner. Went Home. A round of Harry Potter PS2 game with sister. Read one page of the new book I got (thank you Shaun!) and fell asleep. Dayum~
Tomorrow's driving Undang lecture, gonna be in Malay. Hafta bring in NOUGATS and HALLS for it. 6 hours...bam! Maybe I can plead to get the English book, then go back home. gotta wake up by 6.30am. man coming at 7am. must reach there by 8am. HUGE DAYUM!
Feeling kinda lousy now. Don't know why. Maybe I know. Maybe I don't. Forget it.
Bye.
